PJ V-Ribbed Belt 1405-5000mm, 2.34mm 4/6/8/10/12/15PJ EPDM, ISO 9982 Industrial Supplier

Overview

With effective lengths ranging from 1405 mm to 5000 mm and rib configurations
from 4PJ to 15PJ, it delivers up to 98% transmission efficiency
under continuous heavy-duty operation.

What Is a PJ V-Ribbed Belt?

A Poly-V belt combines the flexibility of flat belts with the positive grip of V-belts.
The PJ profile features a 2.34 mm Rib Pitch, making it ideal for compact,
high-speed, and long-distance industrial drives.

Construction & Materials

Belt Body: Thickened heavy-grade EPDM rubber — excellent ozone, weather, heat, and cold resistance.
Tensile Cords: High-strength, low-elongation polyester cords (imported). Optional aramid (Kevlar) for extra-long spans.
Belt Back: Flexible fabric / nylon cloth protection layer for reverse-bend idler compatibility.
Manufacturing: One-time compression molding for uniform rib geometry.

8 Core Advantages of Long-Length PJ V-Ribbed Belt

Reliable Power Transmission Up to 5 Meter Spans — Low-stretch tensile cords transmit power reliably without excessive sag.
Minimal Stretch for Long-Term Tension — Specially treated cords resist permanent stretch, eliminating frequent re-tensioning.
Low Vibration & Quiet Operation — Fine multi-rib profile minimizes span vibration and belt whipping.
98% Efficiency Reduces Energy Consumption — Positive rib engagement eliminates slip even on long spans.
Industrial Durability — EPDM compound resists ozone, dust, oil mist, and UV exposure.
Multi-Pulley Serpentine Compatibility — Reinforced backing withstands reverse bending around idler pulleys.
Global Interchangeability — interchangeable with major international long-length PJ belt specifications.
EPDM Material Advantage: Our long-length PJ Poly-V belt utilizes high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) with polyester/aramid cords. This material delivers exceptional resistance to high temperatures, ozone, and weathering/aging. Ideal for HVAC blowers and serpentine drives, it maintains 98% transmission efficiency with minimal elongation, even at speeds up to 55 m/s (ISO 9982).

Sizing & Naming Convention

Designation rule: [Number of Ribs] PJ [Effective Length in mm]
Example: 10PJ2500 = 10 ribs, PJ profile, 2500 mm effective length.

Installation & Maintenance Guide

Pulley Alignment: Ensure pulleys are parallel (misalignment < 1°).
Tension & Sag: Use a tension gauge; allow 2–5 mm controlled sag per meter of horizontal span.
Idler Pulleys: For spans over 3 meters, install backside idlers at mid-span.
No Prying: Adjust center distance fully before installing — never lever belts onto pulleys.
Break-In Retension: Re-check and adjust tension after the first 24–48 hours of operation.
Inspection: Inspect every 6 months. Properly installed belts deliver 20,000–25,000 hours of service.
